In 1981, at eighteen years old, Pascal Moragues becomes principal clarinet at the Orchestre de Paris, conducted by Daniel Barenboïm .

He leads a busy career as a soloist, playing with Daniel Barenboïm, Pierre Boulez, Semyon Bychkov, Frans Brüggen, Carlo-Maria Giulini, Wolfgang Sawallich, Christoph Eschenbach… and as a chamber musician playing in prestigious halls worldwide including Wigmore Hall in London, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Carnegie hall, the Suntory hall in Tokyo, Théatre des Champs-Elysées in Paris…
He appeared in great Festivals as Salzburg, Lucerne, Jerusalem, Berlin ‘’Intonation’’, Reinghau…

Pascal Moragues has been professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris since 1995 and at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since 2017.
He is regularly invited to give masterclasses around the world and he is guest professor at the Osaka College of Music, the Geidai University of Arts in Tokyo and the Royal College of Music in London.

Pascal Moragues is a member of the Moragues woodwind Quintet which recorded under the Philips label the Beethoven piano Quintet with Sviatoslav Richter.

He recorded as well several cd’s among which the Schubert Octet with Victoria Mullova. All his recordings received a reward by the international press.
